KNACKERED:
pronunciation (năk'ərd)
adj. Chiefly British: Very tired; exhausted.
NOW I know, that could sound bad:
Lazy, depleted in strength, beat, beaten, bleary, bushed, dead, done, exhausted,
fatigued, limp, logy , played out, pooped [slang], prostrate, spent, tapped out, tired,
tuckered (out), washed-out, wearied, wiped out, worn, worn-out, overfatigued, overtaxed,
broken-down, run-down; debilitated, enfeebled, sapped, weakened; drowsy, heavy, sleepy;
lethargic even sluggish.....
I believe I need to build a family business enterprise that includes the many diverse interests of the family and individuals, to create value in the community and to give back to those causes that are very important to me.
I believe in small businesses: It will help this Country rise.
I believe in LOCAL: Buy local if at all possible, employ locally, provide services that are local and invest the proceeds back into Charles County.
I believe in putting out a hand and raising others up, just as I rise.
Those who know me know me to be passionate about how Charles County cares for its land, its people and its history. I care about bringing art and music into our open places and to attract a creative group of new citizens to bring in vitality and joy.
So thats it. Simple in point of fact:
Knackered.
Tired of the same old, same old;
I am instead grabbing the ball and going for the goal.
